Using the blog in a wise way has always been my dream. The problem is that I really have a hard time integrating the new tools into my class plans. I believe that blogs are a wonderful tool ; nonetheless, managing to get students involved and keeping them involved is the key to success. I've seen hundreds of blogs, specially personal ones that attract people's comments, but I still have a long journey ahead before I can say that my blogs are enticing and my students are willing to join in. At this moment the photo I've chosen defines the way I'm feeling - desperate. All this wonderful information coming and my inability to process it. However, I'm confident that given some time I'll succeed.

What I read about Web 2.0 made me very optimistic about the use of its tools to integrate creativity, innovation and critical thinking with the school curriculum. My opinion is that critical thinking is not only the most important element of learning but  also the hardest to be accepted by our students. My question is how to make our students, who are used to learning by the old teacher-centered methods of receiving information, start using these tools and actually participate in this new "classroom"? How do we deal with students'  resistance to contributing and investigating,  instead of receiving?
